who we are

OUR VISION

Making disciples of Jesus in a healthy
church family, so that everyone
in Fair Oaks and beyond can flourish.

OUR MISSION

We exist to "proclaim Jesus, teaching and encouraging everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present
everyone fully mature in Christ." (Colossians 1:28)

OUR VALUES

SERVICE

We will humbly serve everyone
with the mindset of Christ.

"For Jesus did not come to be served
 but to serve others"
Mark 10:45

GENEROSITY

We will be irrationally generous
with everything we have.
"For God so loved the world, He gave!"
John 3:16

UNITY

We will be committed to oneness because
we reflect Jesus best together.
"How good and pleasant it is when
God's people live together in unity."
Psalm 133:1

TRANSFORMATION

We will live transformed lives as the
Holy Spirit makes us more like Jesus.
"Do not be conformed to the pattern
of this world, but be transformed..."
Romans 12:2

REACH

We will always find a way to reach
one more person for Christ.
"For the Son of Man came
to seek and save the lost."
Luke 19:10

LOVE

We will be known for loving God
and what he loves most: people.
"Let love be your highest goal."
1 Corinthians 14:1

JOY

We will choose joy and embrace fun
because that is what life with God is like.
"Always be joyful. This is God's will
for you who belong to Christ Jesus."
1 Thessalonians 5:16 & 18

2022 annual report

we are an epc church

We belong to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) denomination. The EPC is both evangelical and Presbyterian. We are evangelical in our zeal for the gospel, as well as evangelism, missions, and living obediently as followers of Jesus. At the same time, we are rooted in reformed theology.

Part of being Presbyterian means our pastors and staff work collaboratively with our elders. They are elected by our congregation and serve to lead and help govern the church body.

OUR STORY

Fair Oaks Church has a rich history of God leading generations of people to follow Jesus since 1952. We are and have always been a Jesus church, proclaiming the life-giving message of Christ and seeing generations of lives transformed by his grace.

Since 2009, our church has belonged to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) denomination. We celebrate the unique, multi-generational church family we have and value investing in the next generation. We are Jesus followers striving to cultivate a community of love.
