Being a Jesus follower means that you believe Jesus is the Son of God and accepting him as your Savior! God has already done all of the work. All you must do is receive, in faith, the salvation God offers (Ephesians 2:8-9). Fully trust in Jesus alone as the payment for your sins. God offers you salvation as a gift. All you have to do is accept it. Jesus is the way of salvation (John 14:6).

God Loves You & Wants You to Know Him
One of the most amazing teachings of the Bible is that the God of the universe, who in many ways is so unlike us and seems so far away, is actually very accessible and wants to be in relationship with you!
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:13

Here’s the Problem…
God is holy, He is absolutely without fault or compromise. And here’s the thing - we’re not. Each one of us, whether willfully or not, have made our own choices against what God desires for us. The Bible calls this sin, and sin creates a separation between us and God.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

No Amount of Effort Can Fix This
Good, moral living is important, but can you be “good enough” for God? Can we meet his perfect standard? It’s like asking who can jump to the Moon - maybe a track star can jump twice as high as you, but still fall over 200,000 miles short!
A person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
Galatians 2:16

Jesus Is the Way to God
Through Jesus Christ, the only One to ever live a perfect, sinless life, we can have our sins forgiven and be restored to a right relationship with God. Jesus died on the cross and rose from the grave to pay the penalty for our sin, and bridge the gap between us and God.
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Your New Life Begins with an Act of Trust
This incredible transaction starts with a simple prayer. You can say something like, “Lord, I want to be in a forever relationship with you. Thank you for sending Jesus to die on my behalf. I put my life in your hands through Jesus.” God will hear your heart and immediately adopt you as one of His children!
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Romans 10:10
