Read your bible

The Bible tells us the truth of who God is. If you want to know more about
God and His promises, reading the Bible is your next step.
Reading the Bible every day can change the rest of your days! God’s word—the Bible—is the primary way He speaks to us. It’s the absolute best way to discover how to follow Jesus. Reading the Bible will bring you hope, encouragement, guidance, and practical advice on the everyday issues you’re facing. It is relevant to everyone, everywhere, at any time.

But let's admit it - approaching the Bible can be intimidating. Parts of it are difficult to understand and feel irrelevant to everyday life. We could all use some help studying and learning from the Bible. These Bible Engagement resources are here to help you take the next step in your Bible journey. As you read Scripture for yourself, you will not only discover its beauty and power, but our hope is that you will also grow closer to Jesus than ever before.

find a reading plan

One of the best ways to stay engaged with Scripture throughout the year is to use a Bible reading plan. Find a plan that fits you online or in your local bookstore. You don't have to start at the beginning of the Bible. Just pick a place to start and try reading for 10 minutes every day! We recommend the Read Scripture Plan or use the YouVersion app to select a reading plan that interests you!
